Sister Counties between our County and Pengxi County of Sichuan Province

Ninghai News Network (By Lin Beijun)¡ªYesterday afternoon, the contract signing ceremony for establishing sister countries between our county and Pengxi County in Sichuan Province was held, with the presence of Ninghai County Committee Secretary Lin Jingguo, Ninghai County Committee Deputy Secretary& County Magistrate Wang Jianhou, standing committee member of Ninghai County Committee& Deputy Standing County Magistrate Jiang Yulun, Pengxi County Committee Secretary& Director of Pengxi Standing Committee of the National People¡¯s Congress Li Anbang, Pengxi County Committee Deputy Secretary& County Magistrate Wu Xianghong and other Party and government leaders of the both sides.
Lin Jingguo introduced the overall status of the economical social development in Ninghai County, and expressed his greetings to the visit of the Party and government investigation delegate from Pengxi County. Lin Jingguo said: ¡°Both counties have its characteristic construction of economic society respectively in the both counties. And there are many good points in Pengxi County that we can learn from, thus we both sides hope to further reinforce the communication and cooperation so as to realize mutual advantage complementation and make improvements together.¡± Li Anbang highly appraised the achievements in the fields of the economic society in Ninghai county, praised the coordination and development of both economy and ecology in Ninghai county, and appreciated that Ninghai has achieved remarkable and attentive accomplishments such as entering the list of ¡°National Double Top 100 Counties¡± and titled as the national ecological model area and one of the national sanitary cities, thus there is abundant valuable experience in every aspect worthy to be taken as reference and learned. Li Anbang also sincerely invited Ninghai County to organize a Party and government investigation delegate to pay an investigation in Pengxi County, reinforce the communication and cooperation and keep evergreen and permanent friendship between the two counties.
Both sides signed the contractual agreement upon forming sister counties reach a friendly agreement in the aspects of enforcing the experience communication on the implementation of Party¡¯s line, principles and policies and the reformation and opening-up, actively exploring so as to establish long-term and stable economic alliance and cooperative relationship, and accelerating the complementarities and integration of talents, industries and technologies of the both sides, etc.
Background Information: Pengxi County of Suining City in Sichuan Province is located in the middle of Sichuan Basin by east, in the watershed between Fujiang River and Jialing River. Its territory area is 1,251 square kilometers, with 31 towns and rural towns, 495 villages under its jurisdiction. The population there is approximately 0.8 million and it is an agricultural big county mainly on traditional cultivation and aquaculture. This county has a long history and charming landscape, and is famed as ¡°Land of Five Annals¡±. In 2002, the county was named as ¡°Land of China Specialty Folk Literature (Calligraphy)¡± by Ministry of Culture of the People¡¯s Republic of China. |
